Big Thrust Standard Cylinder CDA2B/CA2B Series
This is a high-performance double-acting pneumatic cylinder of the CA2/CDA2B series, designed for industrial automation with strong thrust and reliable operation.
Model Range: Bore sizes 40mm, 50mm, 63mm, 80mm, 100mm; Stroke options: 25mm, 75mm, 150mm, 200mm (Z: air cushion type).
Performance: Operating pressure 0.05–1.0MPa, proof pressure 1.5MPa; temperature range -10°C to 70°C (with magnet: -10°C to 60°C); piston speed 50–500mm/s.
Structure: Single rod, tie-rod construction; aluminum alloy barrel (hard anodized), hard chrome-plated piston rod; built-in air cushion at both ends to absorb shock.
Versions: CA2B (standard); CDA2B (with built-in magnet for auto-switch position sensing).
Applications: Automated production lines, material handling, packaging machinery, automotive equipment, and heavy-duty positioning systems.
Super Strong Thrust: Optimized cylinder structure and reasonable bore-stroke ratio ensure excellent thrust performance, which can stably drive heavy workpieces, meet the needs of heavy-duty pushing, pressing and positioning, and avoid insufficient power in industrial scenarios.
High Stability & Long Service Life: The cylinder barrel is made of hard anodized aluminum alloy, which is corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant and not easy to deform; the piston rod is hard chrome-plated, which effectively prevents scratches and rust, and the service life is greatly extended under long-term continuous operation.
Low Noise & Smooth Operation: Equipped with built-in air cushion (suffix Z), it can effectively absorb the impact force when the piston moves to the end, reduce the collision noise, and make the operation more stable, avoiding damage to the cylinder itself and the connected equipment.
Flexible Selection & Strong Adaptability: A variety of specifications are available (bore 40/50/63/80/100mm, stroke 25/75/150/200mm), and two models (CA2B standard type, CDA2B magnetic ring type) are optional, which can be flexibly matched according to different equipment and working conditions.
Easy Installation & Maintenance: Tie-rod structure design, standardized installation interface, easy to assemble and disassemble; the overall structure is simple, with few wearing parts, and daily maintenance only needs regular inspection and lubrication, which reduces the later use cost.
Reliable Performance & Wide Temperature Adaptation: It can work stably in the temperature range of -10℃~70℃ (the magnetic ring type is -10℃~60℃), and the working pressure is 0.05–1.0MPa, which is suitable for most industrial working environments and has no easy failure.
二、Product Features
Structural Features: Single-rod double-acting design, tie-rod fixed, compact structure, small space occupation, easy to integrate into various automation equipment; the cylinder barrel and piston rod are made of high-quality materials, with high precision and good sealing performance, which can effectively prevent air leakage.
Model Distinction: Clear model division, CA2B is a standard type, suitable for basic thrust scenarios; CDA2B has a built-in magnet, which can be matched with a magnetic switch to realize real-time position detection and signal feedback, and is suitable for automated control scenarios that require precise position control.
Air Cushion Design: The suffix Z indicates the air cushion type, and the built-in air cushion at both ends of the cylinder can buffer the impact of the piston at the end of the stroke, protect the cylinder seal and piston rod, and improve the stability and service life of the equipment.
Performance Characteristics: The piston speed is adjustable (50–500mm/s), which can be adjusted according to the actual working needs; the pressure resistance reaches 1.5MPa, which is higher than the working pressure, and has strong pressure-bearing capacity and safety.
Applicability Features: It is compatible with most industrial pneumatic systems, can be used with air compressors, solenoid valves, pressure regulators and other accessories, and is widely used in various automated production fields.
三、Usage Method
1. Installation Preparation
Check whether the model of the cylinder (bore, stroke, model CDA2B/CA2B, with or without air cushion Z) matches the actual use requirements, and check whether the cylinder surface is damaged, the piston rod is bent, and the air inlet/outlet is blocked.
Prepare matching installation accessories (bolts, nuts, gaskets), and check whether the installation interface of the equipment is consistent with the cylinder installation hole to ensure firm installation.
If the CDA2B magnetic ring type is used, install the magnetic switch at the required position of the cylinder barrel, and connect the signal line to the control system to ensure that the position detection is accurate.
2. Installation Steps
Fix the cylinder to the designated position of the equipment through the tie-rod and installation hole, and tighten the bolts to ensure that the cylinder is installed horizontally or vertically (according to the working requirements), and there is no deviation or looseness.
Connect the air inlet and outlet of the cylinder to the air pipe of the pneumatic system, and use pipe clamps to fix the air pipe to avoid air leakage at the joint; pay attention to the direction of air inlet and outlet (consistent with the direction of piston movement).
Adjust the position of the magnetic switch (for CDA2B type), energize and test, and confirm that the switch can accurately detect the position of the piston (extended and retracted) and feed back the signal normally.
3. Operation Steps
Turn on the air compressor, adjust the pressure regulator of the pneumatic system, and set the working pressure to 0.05–1.0MPa (it is strictly prohibited to exceed 1.5MPa to avoid cylinder damage).
Control the solenoid valve through the control system to realize the extension and retraction of the cylinder piston: when the air inlet is ventilated, the piston extends to output thrust; when the air outlet is ventilated, the piston retracts to reset.
During operation, observe the running status of the cylinder: check whether there is air leakage at the joint, whether the piston movement is smooth, whether the noise is normal, and whether the magnetic switch (if any) works stably.
4. Daily Use & Maintenance
Regularly check the tightness of the cylinder bolts and air pipe joints, and re-tighten them in time if they are loose; check the surface of the piston rod, and wipe off dust and oil stains to avoid scratches.
Lubricate the cylinder regularly (according to the frequency of use), add appropriate pneumatic lubricating oil to the air circuit, which can reduce the wear of internal parts and extend the service life.
Avoid working in an environment exceeding the specified temperature range, and avoid collision and impact on the cylinder during use to prevent damage to the cylinder barrel and piston rod.
If the cylinder fails (such as air leakage, unsmooth movement, no thrust), stop using it immediately, check the cause (such as seal damage, air pressure insufficient, blockage), and replace the damaged parts after troubleshooting.
5. Notes
Do not disassemble the cylinder at will during use, so as not to damage the internal seal and structure.
The working pressure must not exceed the specified 1.5MPa, otherwise it will cause cylinder burst or seal failure.
When the CDA2B type is used with a magnetic switch, ensure that the power supply voltage of the switch matches to avoid burning the switch.
After long-term non-use, the cylinder should be ventilated and tested regularly to avoid rust and blockage of internal parts.
