Usage Method
1. Pre-Installation Inspection
Before installation, check the whole suction cup carefully: confirm the silicone rubber layer has no cracks, breaks, aging or deformation, check the threaded connector is intact and undamaged, clean the suction bottom surface thoroughly to remove dust, oil, debris and particles, avoid impurities affecting sealing and suction effect. Prepare matching air pipe, threaded connector and vacuum generator consistent with the equipment interface.
2. Installation & Docking Steps
Align the standard threaded end of the ZPT suction cup with the mounting interface of the mechanical arm/manipulator, rotate clockwise to tighten firmly, ensure no loose gap to prevent air leakage. Connect the pneumatic vacuum pipe tightly to the suction cup air inlet, fix the pipe joint to avoid falling off during operation. Adjust the mounting height and angle of the suction cup, make the suction surface completely parallel to the workpiece surface for full fitting.
3. Formal Operation & Handling Steps
Start the vacuum pump and pneumatic control system first, adjust the suitable vacuum pressure within the rated working range, do not overload the pressure. Control the mechanical arm to slowly lower the suction cup, make the suction surface fully fit the workpiece surface evenly, start the vacuum negative pressure, wait 1-2 seconds for complete pressure holding, confirm the workpiece is firmly adsorbed without sliding. Control the manipulator to transfer, lift or stack the workpiece stably. After reaching the designated position, close the vacuum system, release negative pressure slowly, the suction cup loosens automatically, complete the whole handling process.
4. Daily Maintenance Steps
After daily use, wipe the suction bottom surface with a clean dry cloth, remove dust, oil and impurities to keep sealing performance. Regularly check the silicone rubber layer for wear, cracking and hardening, replace the suction cup in time if damaged. Store unused suction cups in a cool, dry, shade environment, away from high temperature, sharp objects and corrosive gas. Do not disassemble the suction cup structure privately to avoid air leakage and damage.
Notes
Strictly use within the rated vacuum pressure range, do not overload ultra-high pressure, avoid damaging the suction cup structure or causing workpiece falling.
Prohibit contact with high-temperature workpieces over 80℃, high temperature will melt, deform and age the silicone rubber suction cup permanently.
Avoid adsorbing sharp, rough burr workpieces, prevent scratching and breaking the silicone suction layer, leading to air leakage and suction failure.
Do not use the suction cup in strong corrosive gas, oil pollution or chemical liquid environment for a long time, corroded material will shorten service life sharply.
Ensure the suction cup fully fits the workpiece surface before vacuum adsorption, partial fitting will cause air leakage, weak suction and safety risks.
Tighten all pipe and thread joints before each operation, loose interfaces cause air leakage, directly affect adsorption stability and safety.
Replace the aged or damaged suction cup in time, do not use damaged parts continuously, avoid production accidents and workpiece damage.
