Usage Method
1. Pre-Installation Preparation
Before installation, check the integrity of the vacuum clamp: confirm that the 304 stainless steel body has no cracks, deformation, rust or burrs; check the NPT thread for damage or deformation; check the sealing ring for cracks, aging or damage, and replace it if necessary. Clean the connection surface of the vacuum pipeline and the clamp, remove dust, oil stains, rust and other debris to ensure the sealing effect. Prepare matching tools (such as wrenches) and pipeline accessories.
2. Installation Steps
First, install the sealing ring on the connection port of the vacuum pipeline, ensuring that the sealing ring is placed flat and not skewed. Align the NPT thread of the clamp with the thread of the pipeline fitting, and rotate it clockwise to tighten it gently (do not over-tighten to avoid damaging the thread). Fix the clamp on the pipeline through the quick installation bracket, adjust the position to ensure that the clamp is aligned with the pipeline connection port, and fasten the bracket to make the clamp firmly fixed.
After installation, check the tightness of the connection: gently shake the pipeline to confirm that there is no loosening; check whether there is air leakage at the connection port, and if air leakage is found, re-tighten the clamp or replace the sealing ring.
3. Daily Operation & Maintenance
During daily use, regularly check the working state of the clamp: observe whether the clamp is loose, whether the sealing ring is aging or damaged, and whether the NPT thread is worn. Keep the clamp clean, and wipe the surface with a clean dry cloth regularly to remove dust and debris, avoiding corrosion. If the clamp is not used for a long time, disassemble it, clean it thoroughly, and store it in a dry, ventilated place, away from high temperature, humidity and corrosive environments.
4. Disassembly Steps
When disassembly is needed, first loosen the quick installation bracket, then rotate the clamp counterclockwise to separate it from the pipeline fitting. Take out the sealing ring, clean the clamp and pipeline connection port, and store the clamp and sealing ring separately for next use. Do not use brute force during disassembly to avoid damaging the clamp, thread or pipeline.
Notes
Do not use the clamp beyond the specified working pressure and temperature range, to avoid damaging the clamp and affecting the sealing performance.
Do not over-tighten the clamp during installation, to prevent thread damage, clamp deformation or sealing ring damage.
Regularly check the sealing ring and replace it in time if it is aging, cracking or damaged, to ensure the sealing effect of the vacuum system.
Avoid using the clamp in strong corrosive environments (such as strong acid, strong alkali) for a long time, to prevent corrosion of the 304 stainless steel body.
Do not use damaged clamps (such as cracks, thread damage), to avoid safety risks and air leakage.
When installing and disassembling, use matching tools, do not use brute force, to avoid damaging the clamp and pipeline accessories.
