The pipe consists of an inner rubber layer, a steel wire reinforcement layer (braided or wound), and an outer rubber layer. The inner rubber layer seals the fluid, while the steel wire reinforcement layer (made of high-tensile-strength carbon steel or stainless steel wire) bears over 90% of the working pressure, withstanding pressures ranging from 30 MPa to 400 MPa or even higher, thus preventing the pipe from rupturing under high pressure. Even if the inner rubber layer is damaged, the steel wire layer can constrain the pipe body, avoiding instantaneous burst that may cause fluid ejection, equipment damage or personnel injury. This addresses the critical issue that ordinary rubber hoses tend to bulge and burst under high pressure.

Compared with rigid steel pipes, high-pressure explosion-proof steel wire hoses feature excellent flexibility and bendability. They can absorb equipment vibration, compensate for installation deviations, and are suitable for components requiring relative movement (such as hydraulic cylinders, engineering machinery arms, and pneumatic actuators). They enable long-distance, multi-angle high-pressure fluid transmission, reduce the impact of vibration on pipe joints, and extend the service life of the entire system.

The inner rubber layer is made of oil-resistant, acid-alkali-resistant and anti-aging special rubber (e.g., nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), fluororubber (FPM)), which is compatible with various media including mineral oil, anti-wear hydraulic oil, compressed air and chemical reagents, preventing fluid leakage. The outer rubber layer is wear-resistant, UV-resistant and weatherproof, capable of withstanding friction, impact and corrosion in construction environments (e.g., outdoor operation of engineering machinery, oily environments in industrial workshops), and protecting the internal steel wire layer from rust and damage.

The composite structure of the steel wire reinforcement layer and elastic rubber layer can buffer pressure pulses and instantaneous shocks in hydraulic systems (e.g., pressure peaks generated by hydraulic pump start-stop and valve switching). This avoids impact damage to pipes and equipment caused by sudden pressure changes, and maintains stable system pressure.
